Dr David Badov MBBS, FRACP
Dr Badov graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1989 and trained at the Royal Melbourne, Alfred and Frankston Hospitals. Dr Badov has numerous publications, including major international journals in the gastroenterological field, and is currently the Head of Gastroenterology at the Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals (Peninsula Health) and Director of the Peninsula Liver Clinic.
His areas of expertise include diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Badov has performed over 100,000 endoscopic procedures over the last eighteen years, with particular interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. His other medical interests include liver disease, particularly viral hepatitis and hepatology. He is a member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA), the Australian Liver Association (ALA).
